Performing Is Our Passion
University Events
Over the years, Pearls have had the pleasure of performing the National Anthem for several sporting events. Most recently, we have performed for CNU's Women's' Basketball Team. Additionally, we have performed the Alma Mater for both the Freshmen and Sophomore Honors Convocation.
CAB Music Festival
Christopher Newport University's Campus Activity Board presented the new CAB Music Festival in 2022. We were honored to perform, and are excited for this to become a new annual event for the Newport Pearls.
Glow in the Darcapella
This is the Christopher Newport University Acapella Community's annual event. We perform three songs under black light in the Diamondstein Concert Hall.
Women's Leadership Summit
Women's Leadership Summit is an event put on by Panhellenic Council, and Pearls have had the pleasure of performing some empowering songs
Hollydazzle
Pearls has had the opportunity of performing at Hollydazzle at City Center. This event is where we sing Christmas carols for the Newport News Community.
Relay for Life
Relay for Life is an event where Pearls get to sing in order to honor those who have battled or are currently battling cancer.
